Dr Martens

In 1943 Klaus Maertens, a German doctor (hence the name of the brand), began experimenting with a new shoe design with an innovative sole cushioned by an air cushion to provide greater comfort and support. A few years later, substantial changes were made: the rubber sole was raised to offer greater comfort and support and the yellow stitching became a distinctive sign that stood out against the dark leather. Furthermore, the emblematic black and yellow loop with the "Airwair" branding is added to the back of the shoe, referring to the air cushion incorporated into the sole. These iconic shoes adapt to a wide range of styles and can be worn in different ways, allowing the wearer to express their individuality and rebellious spirit. Whether it's a casual look or a more elegant outfit, Dr Martens always add a touch of character and originality.
